Dr. Paulo Piccolo, MD
Dr. Piccolo is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon who strives to provide excellent and personalized care to each and every patient, making the consultation, perioperative and postoperative care as smooth and comfortable as possible. Dr. Piccolo’s and his team of professionals' main objective is to understand what is the patient’s goal and work together to achieve it.
Dr. Piccolo is a graduate of the prestigious Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. After completing his residency and serving as a Chief Resident during his last year, he went to University of Pennsylvania for the acclaimed Microsurgery Fellowship under masters of the trade.
With this training background Dr. Piccolo is able to offer and provide cutting edge cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery to his patients. This includes cosmetic surgery of the face and body. In breast reconstruction, his expertise range from implant based and abdominally based free tissue transfer as well as other autologous reconstruction options. He also offers procedures to resensitize the breast after mastectomies.
Growing up in Brazil and having traveled and lived around the world gives Dr. Piccolo a broad understanding of cultural and regional diversity. Speaking multiple languages helps him recognize and appreciate the true meaning in the patient’s wishes, without being lost in translation.
